KNVEX COOKIES & SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES POLICY

Effective Date: August 19, 2026Last Updated: August 19, 2026

This Cookies & Similar Technologies Policy ("Policy") explains how KNVEX ("KNVEX," "we," "us," or "our") uses cookies, local storage, software development kits ("SDKs"), device identifiers, advertising identifiers, and similar technologies (together, "Technologies") in connection with the KNVEX mobile application and related services (the "Platform").

This Policy should be read together with the KNVEX Privacy Policy and KNVEX Terms & Conditions. Where this Policy and the Privacy Policy conflict on a data-processing matter, the Privacy Policy governs.

1. WHAT THIS POLICY COVERS

Because KNVEX primarily operates through a mobile application, not every technology used by the Platform is technically a "cookie."

Accordingly, this Policy covers:

  • Cookies, where applicable (for example, if any KNVEX web property is used);
  • Local storage and similar storage technologies;
  • Firebase and other application SDKs;
  • Device and advertising identifiers;
  • Analytics technologies;
  • Crash and diagnostic technologies;
  • Push-notification technologies; and
  • Advertising technologies, including Google AdMob.

The exact technologies used may vary depending on the Platform feature, device, operating system, and technical configuration.

2. REGULATORY FRAMEWORK

KNVEX's use of these Technologies is intended to operate consistently with applicable Indian law, including:

  • The Information Technology Act, 2000, and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011;
  • The Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 ("IT Rules 2021"); and
  • The Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act") and the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025 ("DPDP Rules"), notified on 13 November 2025.

The DPDP Act and DPDP Rules are being brought into force in stages. Provisions relating to the Data Protection Board of India took effect immediately on notification, while most operational obligations for organisations — including the cross-border transfer framework under Section 16 — are being phased in over the following months. KNVEX will update its data practices, and this Policy, as further provisions come into force.
